The device in one paragraph
A soft off-white fabric cube on a light oak base, about 90 mm across, with a small round display that shows one word, for an older person living alone, with the family far away. A help button on top; room air in plain words; it speaks and has a voice assistant; Wi-Fi and a cellular link so it works without home Wi-Fi; built-in Wi-Fi sensing designed to flag a possible fall (a target, to be validated in the pilot); not a medical device; it may miss real falls or raise false ones. No camera. A physical shutter cuts the mic’s power, and a light shows when the mic is on.
How to read this kit
- Everything is a concept and a design intent, not a tested result.
- Part numbers, prices and certification notes are generated from research files. 9 part numbers are checked on the maker’s own page (see Parts); the others are pending. Each price links to the distributor page it came from, with the time it was read.
- Prices are listed unit prices for parts only, not a product cost.
- Timeline ranges are indicative, to be agreed, not a commitment.
- Not a medical device; no medical claim. Not an emergency service.
